A Marigold Note from a fan:

Dear Mr. Best,

I just wanted to thank you for putting my daughter, Shelby's, picture on your website.  She is the little girl in the General Lee.  (Her grandparents couldn't be more proud).  It was such a thrill for my family to have a chance to meet you at the Pekin Marigold Festival on September 9th.  My husband & I watched The Dukes of Hazzard when we were kids & now our children watch it, too.  You autographed my 10 year old son's General Lee & he immediately put it on a shelf so nothing will happen to it.  Both kids are still talking about how 'neat' it was to meet you & will tell anyone who will listen.  Thanks again!

Yours truly,
Lori, Bill, Brock, & Shelby Emery
